The Speaker

Conventional speakers radiate sound in a directional pattern. Low frequency sound is radiated widely, but the higher the frequency, the narrower the dispersion becomes until it is necessary to be directly underneath the speaker to hear full range sound. Soundsphere speakers are unique in their ability to radiate high, mid and low frequency sound equally over a wide area. This wide, full range dispersion is created by the precisely engineered, patented physical design features of Soundsphere speakers.

The Speaker System

Due to their broad dispersion, fewer Soundsphere speakers produce a more even coverage of full frequency sound over a given area than a greater number of conventional speakers. An additional benefit of the non-directional sound dispersion is that listeners seldom perceive the sound source. They perceive a uniform field of sound that appears to come from everywhere. Voice announcements and music are more pleasing and less intrusive than with conventional speakers.
