| "The
Q-CS takes less than an
hour to modify and install,
and just one speaker covers
the same area as four traditional
speakers. For this application,
it offers a great middle
ground between the projector's
built-in speakers and a
full sound system." –

Integrate
high-quality sound into your video systems,
simply and easily.
When
the sales team at CCS Presentation Systems,
one of the nation's largest
full-service audio/video system providers,
needed a superior sounding, cost-effective
audio solution for their small-format projection
systems, audio system designer Darrell
Skinner knew exactly where to turn: Soundsphere
Loudspeakers.
CCS
set to work designing a full audio package
around Soundsphere's
Q-CS Loudspeaker,
a model ideal for hemispherical dispersion
of clear speech and full-range music in
low-ceiling applications. The unique wide
coverage and
quality sound of the Q-CS enabled CCS to
develop the EPA (Enhanced Projector Audio)
system, a self-powered, self contained
sound package that, with a single speaker,
greatly
improves the audio performance of ceiling-mounted
projectors in rooms up to 30' x 30'.
Typical applications for the EPA include
conference rooms, small lecture halls and
classrooms. Over the last year, the popularity
of the EPA has steadily grown among CCS's
business, nonprofit and educational clients,
thanks to the Q-CS's 360°, full-range coverage,
ease of installation and affordable price
tag.
Soundsphere
makes it easy for CCS to add electronics
to the Q-CS for direct integration into
projection
systems
by providing them the speakers direct
from the factory in a custom configuration.
"We receive the speakers and can have them
modified and installed in less than an
hour," says
Skinner. "We've just developed
the EPA package in the last year, but
it really seems to be catching fire,
especially
in schools, due to the low cost and overall
convenience of the Q-CS."
